Road Trip Wednesday is always hosted by YA Highway and it’s fun to think about their questions.
This Week’s Topic is: we’re asking: Will and Zoe [from Nobody But Us by Kristin Halbrook] hit the road to be together. What’s the craziest thing you’ve done for love, or what’s your favorite book/movie moment of someone doing crazy things for love?
My favorite book/movie moment? Please watch all of LOVE ME IF YOU DARE (original French title Jeux D’Enfants). Marion Cotillard! You’ll love it. It’s insane and moody and bittersweet and angsty. The American trailer makes it look like Hugo, but it isn’t, I swear. It’s really intense. They’re both incredibly flawed people and their love is twisted and dark and wrong in so freakin’ many ways.
One of my favorite quotes?
Julien: You know… there were lots of things I was game for that you never said.
Julien: Eating ants… insulting the unemployed… loving you like crazy.
I think if you watch this movie, you might understand why I write the things I write.
Followed immediately by, you should also watch this amazing typography video for Sia’s ACADEMIA, which is my song of the week because its wordplay is amazing.
